I have stayed here several times over the years, and this place is always amazing. The beautiful house feels warm and inviting, with a lovely ocean view. It is close to Seaside’s main strip and just steps from beach access, making it easy to walk from the house to the shore. Loved the house and had a ton of fun in it. The best part is the view out the front window. My main complaint was there were a few broken things that had gone unnoticed along with some hidden junk from the previous person that had to be cleaned up

I went at night on a walk, and was able to see the constellations in the sky!!
I am utterly in love.

I was fortunate to spend 5 days at Once Upon A Tide recently, and it was heaven. From the chef inspired kitchen to the cozy linens, this is a well appointed, breathtaking escape from the busy-ness of life. I booked this house for Thanksgiving house through Home Away. In July. The owners cancelled the day of check-in. I still have not received a refund, despite several calls and e-mails to the owners and Home Away. I have received fake paypal and vemno texts, but no money. Home Away says the owners sent them a screen shot of a paypal refund, but why are they accepting this and not requiring a refund through Home Away? They say it takes time for paypal and to wait another ten days before contacting them again. Yesterday, the day I told the owners I would lawyer up, I got a text for a different amount "from" Venmo; I don't have that type of account. I am hiring an attorney today. If you have any recommendations please let me know. I am going to get my money back. Never use Home Away. There is no such thing as a "Book with Confidence Guarantee." An absolutely amazing property. Love the quiet beach area just steps away. We celebrated my mom's 90th birthday here and we couldnt have chosen a better place. The hosts are wonderful and responsive. Definitely our favorite!
